We’re delighted to be partnering with a high-growth manufacturing organisation based in Knowsley, who are looking to add an experienced Management Accountant or qualified by experience finance professional to their high-performing business.

This is an exciting opportunity to support all of the financial operations within a business that aims to treble in size over the next 3 years, whilst working closely with the senior leadership team to advise on day-to-day finance matters.

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

About the role – As a Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of month end reporting, support all of the financial operations, and lead on budgeting and forecasting processes to guide strategic decision making.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the annual budgeting process, working with stakeholders to build accurate and insightful financial plans
• Leading on regular forecasting cycles, updating projections based on latest performance and business activity
• Oversee short and medium-term cash flow forecasting to ensure strong liquidity management and financial visibility
• Ensuring accuracy across all ledgers
• Bank reconciliations
• Tracking project-level costs for margin analysis
• Liaising with project teams to capture site costs and purchase orders in real time
• Respond to financial queries and provide support for audits
• Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations

Key Skills & Requirements –

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
• Proven management accounts or month end reporting skills.
• Confident ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
