About the Company – Our client, a fast-growing, well-known retail business based in the heart of Manchester, are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll be a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for the day-to-day management of finance operations while supporting strategic decision-making.

Salary – £50,000 – £60,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and month-end processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5 direct reports.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
• Drive cashflow management and financial controls.
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to support growth plans.
• Work closely with external auditors to manage compliance requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience
• Solid background in management accounting and financial reporting
• Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to translate numbers into insight
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders across the business
